Like On some real shyt, I'm just a cat from the hood that read a few books, pretty articulate, have a great imagination and could probably be decent. but you look at shyt like "Alien" screenplay, "Lord Of The Rings" hell even simple stuff like "The 6th Sense" and just be like man, I don't think I can do it. I mean the formatting is perfect, The writing looks like they went to school to do it. etc...I've been trying since I was like 28 to just put something on paper, and every time I compare what I wrote to the thousands of screen plays it just doesn't seem good.

Bottom line, I think If I could just finish SOMETHING. see it through to the end. I would feel so much better about myself/skill level. But it's tough.

Just do what you enjoy doing, if it's writing screen plays do it. study scripts you admire and learn from them. of course it's intimidating to read screenplays from people who have mastered the art after years of practice, failures and successes.
