Anybody else having xbox live update/hdd problems?

The past couple of days I haven't been able to play 2k13 because it says it needs an update...but when I press okay i get an error (status code starts with 3F4A) saying that the update has failed...I do some googling and people are saying it's something to do with the harddrive...i look at my internal hdd (i have the 4gb black joint) and it says unformatted...so i've reformatted it and cleared the cache several times...doesn't solve the problem...anybody have this happen or know of some fix...or am I basically fukked...this is my 3rd xbox (first one bricked...2nd won got stolen in a burglary) I just bought the muh'fukka in like November

You don't have enough space on your HDD, thats why your getting the error
Do you have an older model Xbox HDD laying around?
Or you can find them cheap on good ol' craigslist

You don't have enough space on your HDD, thats why your getting the error
Do you have an older model Xbox HDD laying around?
Or you can find them cheap on good ol' craigslist

Don't think that's it...the update is only 2mb, and there's nothing on the internal drive...i use a 32gig flash drive as my primary storage on there...so i went ahead and formatted the internal drive and cleared everything off of it...so it says it's empty, but then I get the same problem

I bought a 4gb slim for my kids this xmas. Ended up paying $80 for it
When I was setting the system up, I tried to play 2k13 and got the same error you did
I come to find out, the xbox didn't even have the 4gb internal memory
I found out about the video I posted, had a few HDD's lying around. Put in a 60gb joint and didn't have the problem anymore
I didn't realize at the time there was NO memory in it.

I'm thinking its still not recognizing your HDD somehow?
When you go to settings, then storage.. what comes up?
