It just recently popped up. and the lock in the address bar has had the yellow mark for a while now. If anybody else is seeing this, are they letting the admin know?

Excellent :youngsabo:
lol only did so to make the thread and then log out. On the phone now which seems ok. The lock is green here. Looks like I’m straight mobile with this site now till I figure it out.

It's common for sites like this that don't have their SSLs set up properly.

this.

It goes back to.... whatever point a few years ago where the major browsers said they were gonna stop fukking with websites that didn't have SSL security (changing http to https, in layman's terms.), but you have to pay for an SSL certificate and put it on your server manually.

the coli started redirecting from https to the plain old www like a week ago, possibly meaning they didn't reup on the SSL certificates for the site

so you'll get the warning on "major" browsers like firefox, IE and possibly Chrome, but won't get a peep out of stuff like Safari and Opera.

Yeah, ever since the site got sold, they've been pumping ads lately and not properly securing this place. It's been that way for a couple of years now and it's annoying.

shouldn't be a problem to afford an SSL certificate for this ad pumping site. I run a website and keep my SSL up to date no problem
