My tv will surely show it's age with next-gen so i might
start saving up for a new tv by the time Ps5/Xsx comes out,
any recommendations? Seems like the latest in Tv is HDMI 2.1
but not a lot of them support it at the moment.

If the rumors of G-sync/Freesync are correct, then most definitely. I wouldn't mind playing some PC games at 4k 144hz as well.

If games are gonna go above 60fps, then I will since that's where the 2.1 will be necessary.

Off the jump prob not until we have something that will warrant it.

:martin: When are they gonna release the TVs with 2.1? Been eyeing rtings and all the new TV reviews got trash specs. Got me feeling like I should have pulled the trigger on the Q80R last year.

My current TV is just under 2.5 years old. Not a huge gamer so even if I get the PS5, I'll probably ride out my current TV for a good +5 more years.
