Any you nikkas use a Firestick for emulation?

Just found out you can casually download Retroarch directly from the Amazon App Store on your Firestick. I transferred some Game Boy Color roms on there and started Pokemon Crystal, but it wouldn't work with my DualSense, only with my Firestick remote. You nikkas have any experience with this?

I saw online that it was possible, but having to use the firestick remote was a no go.
I'm good with my retropie.

Probably be trash. Firestick are dumb underpowered. Why not get a pi or Android box?

Don't bother even if you get it all setup perfectly by sideloading Retroarch controller support is so ass
its unplayable the connection always cuts out unless you cop an amazon luna controller (which is also ass)

There isn't much storage space on a FireStick
