my theory (based off personal experience) is that women in these fields are either super driven feminazis who tend to be very bytchy (whether by force or whatever) or completely introverted with no sort of personality whatsoever

i haven't met a "normal" chick yet in the field

I'm a man. I studied engineering and had many females in my classes and as lab partners at times.

  • Few of them were introverts but no feminists or bytchy at all. Actually when i think about it it was just this one chinese chick
  • Heck most of them were some of the sweetest chicks you could ever be around.
  • Some were even super freaks on the low...too bad i found that out about them way too late :noah:

The one super driven feminist type that i could think of in that field was my Digital Systems and VHDL professor. She was fine as fukk but scary at the same time

in my school its a running joke that women engineers are ugly all ugly

Pretty much the same at mine. Man I hate my classes bcuz of this. I had a friend in one of my classes, me and him would skip our lecture and go to the one beofre it. The first thing he said to me when we walked in the class is  "there are no girls in this class". And thats how it is for the most part.

Met some cool ones. This one half-Filipina in particular, completely normal, very cool and she never took notes in class. Did Upper Division Physics problems in her head during class examples- talking about Lagrangian and Hamiltonians, and aced the tests usually being the first one done. Had all the guys shook. Brought a smile to the professor's face after the 2nd midterm.

Some people just got that magic and are completely normal. Both of her parents were engineers though.

Yes there may be exceptions to this theory but in the engineering workplace this is pretty much true.

The feminist type ones usually had a father in the engineering field and were pushed to pursue eng since if your a woman eng your pretty much guaranteed a job if you got a pulse.

This is all despite eng being a male dominated prof.

The bytchy pushy ones are women that want to head into management positions. Women, if driven, have the opportunity to achieve upward mobility very easily within corporate america. Large company prospective.

The introverted ones are just your typical eng. Its pretty much as simple as that.
