I was always told that Omnisphere wasnt all that tailor made for hip hop/rnb and more for film scoring type stuff etc. When I was first looking into the VSTs I never really saw it listed on the equipment list of other producers as well, I know, thats not a measuring stick, but I was naive when it came to the whole software thing so I was looking for anything to point me in the right direction.
Even listening to the demos of people fukking with it Im like
Though I should demo it cause I got Trillian (Same makers) when I first started, slept on it, and that thing is a damn beast now that I dove into that program. Used for 95% of all my bass needs.

whats funny is people sample films scores lol. The strings are authentic so instead of sampling, you can actually play them, and they sound extremely powerful. the strings alone shyt on everything out there. the fact that other producers DONT use it, is exactly why I want to use it. Everyone uses the same damn vsts and are using the same damn sounds.
trillian is sick too. and the drums in stylus RMX are tight. load them with fabfilter plug ins and you got theatrical quality.

which would you say is better.
Komplete 8 or Spectronics (Omni, Trillian, RMX)?
I've dabbled with Absynth, Albino and Battery, but the learning curve is the reason I haven't really fukked with it. Not that it's hard I just dont want to sit down and learn it right now.

i'll check it out. hope it works. i've tried a couple before that were duds.
oh and i don't have any of the other stuff you were asking about i do have trillian and it's a fukking monster. it's really heavy on resources but it's so dope. sounds great on it's own...and when you run it through a guitar amp

Omni; I like both Omni and Komplete for different things.
The Omni sounds are really rich, bright.

yea omni is just too powerful. and once you learn to use it.......
you can craft wave sounds, use its effects, rack up multiple omnis on ONE omni, the shyt is just too crazy. The sounds be making me think Im doing a movie score, you'd shyt on everybody strings with this shyt. then add plug ins like flab filter or psp bundle and nikka will be like :damnlol:
