As @NoMorePie said, the NBA. The opinions of casuals and those that don't watch has created the hot take culture which has done a lot of damage to the sport.
This is the case for pretty much any TV show that’s been on for a long time. All you ever hear about The Simpson’s is people complaining about how the show is terrible now, even though most admit that they haven’t watched in years.

MMA, guys who only watch big cards and the main card at that but then will tell you XYZ is trash or just think whoever the bigger named fighter will win.
