Any of you watching the new Two And A Half Men season?

I've seen the 1st two episodes of the season so far.

Not bad. The show is defenetly not the same since Charlie left but its still funny to me. Mainly because of Alan.

I don't like what they did to Jake's character tho. They turned him into a lame, dumb stoner and now they have him in the army and he has barely been in the show so far.

I will still watch but they should dead the show after this season. There's not many places they can take it now, let it die a somewhat graceful death.

I still watch it cause I was a big fan of the original but its not much without Charlie and like I said, I don't like the character they have turned Jake into.

Each episode so far has gotten over 10 million viewers.

Yeah, it'll always do well in the ratings.

I completely gave up on it last season, it got beyond terrible.

I think it's the ease of access into it, you don't really need to follow the show, you could watch any episode and get the gist of what's going on. Plus, it's easy laughs, presents an easy joke at you, all laughter-tracked up, to me it's hangover TV or something in the background when I'm not really paying attention. I think that accounts for quite a lot of their ratings, plus that shyt is on worldwide, all the time. They're gonna do very well of it for a very long time.

I can't comment on the new season but if it's similar to the parts I saw of the last season then I'd give it a few more years at most and it'll be done.

Then before you know it, there's another one just like it, change the character names, settings and occupation of the characters - re-use the jokes, brand it as something new and the same masses will eat it up like it's amazing.

It's a good formula.

I always found it funny. Specially once they hit the 2nd or 3rd season. Also the jokes are pretty raunchy for an American sitcom. Most American sitcoms are very clean cut but Two And A Half Men had a lot of sexual jokes I found funny. Also the conflict between Charlie and Alan was always comedy to me.

But they've also turned Alan's character into a joke and not a believable one at that. How the f*ck is he gonna still be living at that house and be broke. Dude is a doctor, a chiropractor. He has no more child support and alimony payments. He has a girlfriend that lives in a big house in a nice neighborhood.

Its a joke now, stupid and not believable. The only reason I still watch is cause I was always a fan of the show. Otherwise I wouldn't watch it any more. It still has a joke here and there that makes me laugh but its for the most part.

I guess it depends on ur sense of humour. I know people that find it funny and people that find it stupid so I dunno

i think i've only watched 10 mins of that show ever. Does not appeal to me in the slightest.
