my dude i was just about to make a thread on this topic. Guess ill have to put it off now, but i now despise the word. If we are to ever progress as a people we have to leave that word out of our mouths. Yes, it is highly self-hating to refer to one self or another black person as a "n1gger". I cringe everytime i see it used here. any black person with a hint of self-respect and knowledge of our history shouldnt even want to use that word.

I try not to. I have white friends who were around other black people who CONSTANTLY were saying it and got brainwashed into it. I learned then that i needed to be a positive example.

Nigguh is my favorite word to say. Nigguh I say nigguh like 30 times a day. What I look like calling my self colored or African American. I dont even greet my bruhs unless i end it with nigguh. When using the european defenition of the word it's awful but when it's used in it's orginal context its the best thing you can call your brother. The word in its original context means King.

When I'm around black people, yes. When I'm around other races, even our Latino 'brothers' I don't say it at all.
