Any of you into crime noir (novels, films)?

I've been reading some Raymond Chandler and Richard Stark. A bit anachronistic and it definitely isn't PC for those sensitive about that sort of thing. But the hero is basically like Batman without the gadgets and perhaps vengeful demeanor- he's incorruptible and fights for justice, not necessarily law.

i put stark up there with elmore leonard as far as the best of this genre tho...
