So I'm at the gym earlier doing close grip bench. I do my last warm up set and I'm feeling good so I decide to go for a PR (200 for 5, I know all you guys bench 585 for 40+ reps but somehow cant produce footage of your Herculean strength:bryan:) Anyways I get to the 5th rep and get stuck midway:patrice:. I rarely ask for spots BC I do this thing where I throw the bar onto my lap then stand up. One problem.
My dumb ass forgets I have my phone on my lap.
I do my thing, then I pick up my phone to track my set and notice my shyt is fukked up.
Now my phone looks like a letter V, but somehow still functional.
Any of you brehs ever had something like this happen?

You use pen and paper to track your sets? Apps are way easier for me.

Basically. I write down the plan on a small sheet and go from there. I post them in my thread here afterwards.
I seen your thread. Nice progress on your lifts. I personally like using apps BC it charts my volume and my PRS over time. And automatically times my sets.
I see a lot of dudes with the pen and paper though.

I have a broken second phone that I use to track my numbers as well as use as a timer. The screen is already cracked anyway. My real phone stays in the locker.

I always put my phone under the bench before any lifts. I figure if I do drop a dumbbell, it would have to take a rare strange bounce to hit it :heh:

I used to do the pen and paper tracking too, but I found my phone more convenient plus it has a timer when I'm in certain areas of the gym where the gym clock isn't visible.

I have. I was doing weighted pull ups with a 45lb weight. After finishing my set I dropped the weight on the floor but forgot my phone was sitting there. I picked it up and the mothafukkin screen was cracked and the metal housing had a big ass dent in it.
