Any of y'all ever copyright a character?

Let's say if I create a company, let's call it "XRR3" for example, and then I do original drawings and create a character called "XRR3 Man" and I want to copyright my company's name, the characters, and more characters that I'll create under the company XRR3, how would I go about doing that?
