Not anymore, I have been eating the same stuff for the last ~2 years tho. Might get a little more strict on this diet, but I pretty much calculated everything I eat like 2 years ago, and I still use a food scale to measure shyt out. For protein I'm getting at least 200g a day, and for fats, unless I completely pig out I don't get any more than like 70g a day. Sugar is capped at about 70g a day as well. Beyond that I'm flexible
U just need to get into an eating routine and u are good money.
