Been feeling kinda tired of what barbershops have to offer. I've been on the move lately from city to city and it's been increasingly difficult to find a good barber around that cuts my hair the way I like it. Add in the fact that it's basically $15-20 a week to get my hair done, I'd much rather do it myself. No waits, do it whenever I want, and the style I want.

I need tips to the brehs that cut their own hair. What clippers y'all using too by the way?

Breh i been on that cutting my own sh1t wave for a year now...I got the andis t liner and some Wahl clippers with the adjustable blades.
All i can say is practice man,it took me a few tries to get the angles right esp doing your line in the back in the mirrors but eventually youll be able to do it with ya eyes closed....

I would recommend getting 2 big mirrors and just practice my dude..All i do is a low caesar and ive perfected lining up my sides and back nice and crisp and getting my line right in the front and ive figured how to get behind the ears and connect the beard...

It just takes some time getting used to it...

Andis T-Outliner for the edges, breh. I use it on my beard as well.

For the past 10 years. Nothing fancy. Straight even ceasar with more than acceptable lines. Tried a fade once, but it didnt end well. :to:

I know the Andis T Outliner is pretty popular. Can it cut as well with some guides or does it only do lineups?

I'd prefer a do-it-all clipper. Any recommendations?

T liner can cut/trim a beard but i wouldnt use it for anything else, wahl clippers ive had for a few years, best ones ive used as long as you keep em oiled they stay nice and sharp....
