Sherman’s Showcase

I know you said no superhero shyt, but Black Lightning (3 seasons, available on Netflix) is one of the best black shows out and a lot of times plays more like a family drama with some superhero stuff mixed in. Easily one of the best depictions of a black family on TV.

Co-sign on Sherman's Showcase (1st season on Hulu), really funny show.

Also Insecure just wrapped up its 4th season not too long ago.

Lovecraft Country is dropping on HBO next month.
