In that dvd about Wayne that he suing them for there is like a 15min section where he shows the whole plug n punch method, heard Jay does the same thing
im not sure if jay does the whole plug and punch...
I think Jay spits verses all the way through, the similarity is in that fact that they dont use paper.
In the documentary that came out around Black Album "Fade to Black" I think it shows Jigga man recording without paper, and he does spit the verses all the way through but goes thru many revisions.
I have given it a shot before but didnt get as good results as going from the paper. Prolly cuz I started as a producer (and prolly will end that way) and spitting wasnt my first love.

yea, it can be at times but when you find that groove and just making some nice shyt the feeling is
. Whenever I make what I think is a nice beat, I cant stop from geeking like 
until you goto sleep and hear it the next day and you're like
