any good ideas for healthier snacks?

i cut out chips and soda completely. i'm on trail mix but, i want to broaden my horizons to snacks that are better for me. what would you experienced dieting individuals recommend?

I think Greek yogurt is the goat snack, I just measuring it out. Try to add almonds too if you haven't, just obviously gotta watch the portions.

Also blueberries & strawberries are fruits to def add if you don't eat them(unless you don't like them )

What are your goals?

Sunflower seeds in the shell. It takes like a half hour to eat 200 calories worth.

60 grams with the shell = 190 calories

Kettle Roasted Giants Brand are a lower sodium option

David Brand has a new line out thats really low sodium

Enlightened ice cream and bean crisps. Good taste and 7 grams protein per serving in each pint and bag.

I do a lot of fruits as my snack food. Mainly grapes, watermelon, and honeydew melons.

Speaking of melons they're so low in calories for their size it's not even funny. A pound of watermelon will met you less than 300 cals (and your ass can't eat a pound anyway so I wouldn't eem sweat it). And since the carbs are coming from fructose you don't have to worry abt your insulin spiking

Crasins!! Eat them almonds or pistachios. Make butter (like peanut butter) out them & enjoy it with jelly (another version of pb&j, just another nut

Drink tea, use honey to sweeten it. I would put honey on my toast, skipping on the butter.
I've cut down a lot on pop, if I'm thirsty and want something sweet I'll drink Gatorade. I also made something outta bell peppers, kale, zucchini, & chicken. Now I just need add in the exercise part & see some actual results.

Dip veggies in avocado. Get the spicy kind because you will eat less of it. Veggies paired with a protein will help make you less hungry


Be careful with the nuts, avocados, peanut butter and other butters and sugary things like jelly. If you aren't portioning you may consume too much. One serving of pb is like one heaping spoonful.

Nothing wrong with eating a lot of healthy nuts and avocados.
