Your mother and I played hide the sausage last night, it was a good game with a black protagonist 
Give El Paso, Elsewhere a go. It's inspired by Max Payne, and it's solid. I do warn you the game is quite long, and it takes about 8-12 hours to complete and drags a bit, but it's still lots of fun. I was actually surprised how good voice acting and story is because I wasn't expecting that

I can't think of any hack n slash but there is a RPG in development called Celestial Tear: Lost World. It's probably not close to coming out, though.
I feel like this has been coming out for a while.
