What's it like there?Yeah
What's it like there?
Is it costly to live there?
Are there any decent warehouse/factory
jobs?
It's not too bad, depending on where you're at. It's been hot this summer all around the city, but you're usually good if you're just minding your own. They revamped public transportation recently. Still not great but a lot better than even just a few years ago. Depending on where you're at, you can damn hear hit a trail and walk from one side of the city to downtown to up north lol.
Any specific places you looking at in the city?
Nah, cost of living is actually surprisingly decent. I think we're like 8% below the national average. Downtown has become more expensive, but you can find cheap apartments/houses in low headache areas.
100%, I know we have like two Amazon warehouses but they're some distance from Indianapolis exactly. But there's a lot of factories/warehousing and manufacturing plants around here or like a 20/25 min drive away.
Also bro, keep in mind pence was our former governor and Trump won by almost 60% here. Indianapolis can be cool even though you'll definitely see confederate flags on some cacs truck but most of Indiana is trash. KKK was birthed here.
What are some good spots to visit/eat/go for events and stuff? Have a family member who just moved out there

It's lit down there whenever there are some events occurring. Festivals, Expos, Marquee games....It's not too bad, depending on where you're at. I had a colleague who was a curator there who just resigned from there bc of racism and sexism. The IMA/Newfields is a great art museum.

Her name is Kelli Morgan
Newfields curator says discriminatory workplace is 'toxic'No shyt? I used to work there a couple years ago during the summer and I was like one of the few black people working there on the floor when I was a guide. Shame they're losing their diversity. The majority of people working in my department were young white girls going to iupui or butler
Was she the curator for the African section? That place is fuego even if it's kinda small.
Unfortunately
Its ok place probably like any Midwest city, its top 5 city in gentrification but realitively cheap( im from DC)
Alot jobs on the Westside of town, Plainfield, Avon, whitestown....
