Ain't this the outlet that Reggie Wright does his videos on? He just rambles on about shyt.
I'm talking about the forum website, Reggie doesn't have anything to do with the forums, hes on the YouTube channel.

I never posted there but sometimes lurked. Always wondered when forums like that would start going down. Wu Corps is still up, few others are kicking too. I'd imagine the Coli is one of the last big forums for the type of shyt we're into (rap, sports, etc).
Not sure the official reason, the reasons floated are bullshyt, I have some assumptions but gotta get a hold of a few ppl and chop it up.What’s the reason they closed the forum?
I love the coli for what it is, and hate it for what it's become also (@fakkitassmods bring back the annual purge you spineless cowards)
But B1 had something that cant be replaced, especially the VIP Section (iykyk)
Some threads in particular contained very valuable information in regards to previously unknown material that exists and how to start the quest to obtain it. And for the people who think "oh it all leaks eventually"...no, it doesn't. I'm personally sitting on a couple hundred tracks from the OG buying groups (before the greed caused them to let the parasites in) that have still never leaked.
Just talked to @throwerj who talked directly to @BANNED it's over for good. And it has nothing to do with inactivity or operational costs.
i asked a few days ago, i thought they were fixing it again because it went away before and came back, but i guess it's gone for good

I figured. I just had no clue they even had a forum. Matter of fact, I didn't even know it was an outlet independent from Reggie Wright's nut ass. His videos are the only shiit on there, it's weird.
Yeah the site (forums) were around before the youtbe channel. John Hyland who started the forum used to be the web guy for Death Row. He hooked up with Reg to form the current incarnation of the youtube channel.
maaan i joined late, i replied that thread about the VIP section and asked where to donate and they ghosted most of my PMs, because they asked me how much i was willing to donate, with them saying that the range was 20 to 80, but the 'accepted minimum' was 50, so i said 50 to test the waters and then no response...and some people claimed they donated but VIP was moreless hyped, etc...so i didn't bring it up again as a case of sour grapes of unobtanium anyways, because VIP from what was told to me was just a launching pad section for PBs, of shelling out more money on some rehashed resale of a vaulted/unleaked song without much backup from the general public to participate, and just unlock the section of text dump threads for stuff i don't necessarily care about with some bonuses as downloads, of people hoarding the real stuff of value and gatekeeping them, so i was like meh whatever, i'll just gleam the regular sections for what interests me
there's a lot of euro casuals that i raged with on B1, because they sound entitled AF steeped in ignorance, of not knowing how it's like to grow up in america in poverty and to have a subpar education or even struggled a day in their life to be relatable to be spewing arrogant comparisons of artists being able to make it out with music by means of survival and not a 'simple past-time' so i stopped responding there
yeah therow lays in the cut and civilian sometimes shows up to talk to me about selective collections, but not really recently....there was that one guy who was sharing a bunch, and apparently most of the shares also exist on some other blog network, and there's a lot of stuff i don't care much for....sure i'll download it, but is it really life changing had i not downloaded it? not really
it's like one less blog to visit and half of them probably made usernames on leaked.cx already and the rest would probably migrate over there tbh

Yeah, you def missed the golden era, you joined right around the time I started getting inactive (for personal and health reasons, not cause of the site) but yeah, you joined during what I call the "shytpost troll teenager era", for some reason we had an influx of eurocac trolls, shytposters, young ppl born way after Pac died who would constantly argue on some knowitall shyt and a whole host of other toxic ass posters.
the mandatory $50 was a result of a few issues, ppl being let in and then never contributing to the group buys but also just causing constant problems either by arguing, starting bullshyt narratives, complaiing and derailing current group buys. It was also put in place because of the leaks, which we never had a problem with the first 6 years I was in VIP. Now the leaking is a big problem for a couple reasons, 1) it pisses off all the contributors who paid to get the current project and then it leaks a week later so a lot of contributors kinda felt like fukk it "im not gonna pay to fund something exclusive thats gonna be free to all in a week or so" (2 days later in one case that really started the downfall) So yeah, the less contribtors meant the rest of us had to shoulder those absent $$.
I gotta step out but i'll reposnd to the rest of your post and provide some more info next time i'm online.
