Man I feel for everyone who is from New York who has to move far away. I did it once. Never again. I live in Jersey City now. So it's not too different.

As a NY transplant to Florida, I don't have any issue with any of the things listed 
As for there's nothing to do.... I live near Tampa, downtown Tampa itself is pretty entertaining for a southern city. Ybor City seems nice from this Youtube video..
My biggest issue with FL is the lack of public transit and the brutal heat. Before someone asks, why did you move down to FL? Well, it wasn't really my call

Why though? I'm legit asking because not like you hear about a lot of to do there. I know people used to travel there to shop but now we have the internet.

There is something to do at all times in Florida. I moved here from PA where it seemed like wasn't shyt to do, now I my only excuse for sitting still is if I don't want to go out and spend money. Festivals/events every got damn weekend in every major city it seems.

The only place I been outside of NYC in the United States that was interesting was Washington DC. Everywhere else sucks, though I will admit the food is really good, maybe even better. outside of Chinese takeout and Pizza.

The only people who complain about missing New York are people who move to other big cities. Because there are no other big cities in America like New York.
Nobody moves from Manhattan to Cleveland and whines about the difference. That's obvious and expected.
The real complainers are the ones who move from New York to Florida or Texas...and then every time an old friend or relative comes to visit them....the first thing they do is talk shyt about how you can't live in New York anymore and it's expensive and there's crime and blah blah blah.
My brother moved to Tampa. It's not bad, but it's not that great either. You don't really make any real money, you have to drive all the time for every little thing. And every other year a hurricane is going to fukking ruin everything you've built.
But I get it. You don't have to deal with snowy winters and twice a year your community might do a barbecue by the pool.

I'm very bothered by crowds but for some reason I'm good if it's at events out in the open, rather than indoors.

Cause New York is objectively better than Texas and Florida outside of Houston, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale. Rest of the major cities in them states suck ass
