If they lowered the rim.

Angel's play style and resulting above rhe rim style from changing the height of the rim would create a unseen draw. Yet since women's basketball is trapped behind being on the same court and hoop as men's basketball. All that will happen is the potential draw for this to become a box office sport that showcases the draw of women in a sport that matches their physical criteria.
If they lowered the rim the excitement a player rivalry like this. Plus the visual of the above the rim play would make this sport a real draw. Not just some niche we send some of our girls out to play.

All I see is another female superstar. NoT get to really shine in full.

all because someone keeps trying to make women play basketball.
on a hoop suited for men.

Imo the world would be on fye.
If in game these players had the visuals of poke'n on each other.

to fuel the draw of this sport.

Right now wnba having a men's hoop. Creates no real swing of casual interest.
As it visually has no marker to connotation or showcase why we should be watching.
Not watching women dunk is like asking someone to pay for a league pass to watch yba youngsters. When no one pays for yba because they will never dunk. Simple as that.
For women's basketball to really pop.
It needs to be based on women showcasing the ability to play above the rim. Till that happens. This will be the same ol same ol as it always has been. We wait for a lisa, anyone.
Leslie or Lobo type and still we never get a highlight reel of what we watch basketball for. Which is to see the next player get treated't and poked on.

Till casually we can see pro female basketball players poke on each other. Crowning a college female hoop superstar will never get real legs to draw.

The NBA drew how it drew because of above the rim play. Plus having that above the rim player in its legacy. Contines to drive it even further. To rejuvenate the draw of the game to increase its draw globally.
Till we get to see women dunk professionally. Women's basketball will always be women playing basketball under the confines of being a man. When women sports should be about women competing against women in a physical criteria related to women in general. Right now,.. women basketball is not played in the idea of being centered around women playing basketball. It is under the criteria of watching women be subjected to playing under the confines of men playing basketball with the rim at ten feet.

Ehh...Carter has gotten a raw deal imo....She avg 17.4p/3.4a on 47/37/82 shooting as a rookie....Those numbers clearly prove that she belongs in the league...Atlanta had a better win percentage when Carter played. She got into a fight with a teammate who has a history of getting into fights (Courtney Williams)....Said teammate was trying to be a leader when she did not have the qualifications to do so. The player she got into a fight with has been on 4 teams in 5 seasons...Carter does need to mature, but some of these wnba players get very jealous when they see a young talented player with more skill/talent than they have...There are also a lot of clicks in the game.....Carter was not given a fair shot with the Sparks...They brought her off the bench and started 2 players who care career backups.

Carter was a headcase

Says who?

B.Sykes...One of Carter's former teammates defended her during a post-game press conference...She even called her a good teammate
