Andy Serkis Oscar talk after ROTPOA

So I just saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes after reading and hearing people talk about that Andy Serkis should've gotten a Oscar nom for best actor is so insane to me. Did people really walk out of the theater going like "I wonder how they got the ape to do all of these things" or "that felt real". There is not one moment in that movie that feels real or lifelike when the apes are involved.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a serviceable B-level Hollywood blockbuster. at cats gassing it up as some sort of cinematic achievement.

A friend of mine told me it was the greatest movie he's ever seen and I hit him with the real quick.

"Dawn" is on some other shyt, though
