Well judging by this thread title...
...if more people used it they would see that a lot of features that they don't think are available actually are.
I hope Google continues force feeding it because sooner or later people might actually try it and realize it's nice.
Google should be the first company to know that doing things by force doesn't really work on the internet. Everything has to be organic to really get a cult following. Facebook is slowly crossing that line, but at least they started organically and not get people initially by force.

Actually, they should just make the features on G+ embedded as a part of the Android system.
Google Talk/Hangout allows people to video chat from PC to phone to tablet and vice versa
Group messaging etc.
But they probably want people to use them via G+...

I'm guilty of not really using all the features on my phone too. Mostly because there is just so much you can do with Android. I'd never even looked at the Google + hangouts on my GS3 until I read this post.
