Mexico does the same 30 day arrest thing. They have a very different legal system, more European, I forgot the exact difference, but it's like one version of law, and we do another. the US is more similar to the UK system, for obvious reasons.

Says nothing about guilt, cartel bosses get same 30 day thing. standard.

edit: mexico/romania is a Civil law system, and we use a a common law system.

Everyone thinks the legal system around the world works the same as in America. They simply don't! In some places, they can be held for a certain period while they do their due process. Doesn't mean anything aboit guilty at all!

Dude has a massive platform and was speaking openly about buying politicians and how he makes the corruption in Romania work in his favor. It's not unimaginable that he crossed some politicians who then decided to pull the plug on him.


Human trafficking is a massive industry in that country and they turn a blind eye to it all the time. If the allegations are true, dude been active in that industry for years. Why did they decide to act on these allegations in the year 2022?

Pimps and escort managers would be in the same situation. The charge is always human trafficking even if they "consent." The wary part of the allegation was that they told the women they loved them. Just from the top that sounds like regret and jilted feelings from a woman but who knows
