The mayor of Tallahassee, Andrew Gillum, has won a surprise victory in his party's primary for Florida governor. If he beats the Republican Ron DeSantis in what promises to be a polarising midterm election showdown in one of the nation's fiercest political battlegrounds, he will become the state's first black governor. Both Gillum and DeSantis defeated more moderate opponents aligned with their parties' establishment

During early polls he didnt have a chance compared to his opponents because he had less resources. My Floridia brehs support him with your votes, if you dont vote then donate to his campaign:ufdup:.

Nah, if he ran on an unequivocally pro-black platform and still won, that would be making history. Being black and parroting liberal talking points is passe. Been there, done that. :francis:
Exactly how many people ran on a pro-black campaign and actually had a chance to make a difference?
