Not anymore.

Small ball actually helped them stay in the game tonight. As key as those bigs are for the Cavs, you can't play them both on the floor at the same time anymore.

Kerr made the correct adjustments.

Only reason Cavs stayed in the games period was Thompson and Mosgov offensive rebounding and 2nd chance points. They not getting those anymore as much...

Them bigs gonna get wore out if the pace is fast.
Kerrs adjustments were goin small and Blatt did the same thing instead of stickin to his lineup. They're not gettin offense rebounds as much becuz Thompson and Mozgov havent been on the floor together. At sum point Kerr would have to play Bogut or Azelie if those 2 are in together

He won't have too if theyre getting wore out up and don't the court... they gonna eventually take themselves out the game or become a liability...

I could see if they actually scored or could create their own shots... they really can't though. Cavs cannot offensively punish GS for going small... all they can do is out rebound but if the pace is fast, GS doing farely well in team rebounding (their PG had 6), and GS shots are falling/getting to the line then the bigs become a liability and Cavs go small to match... like they did tonight

Their size advantage will never change.

They need Mozgov out there - he's their second best scoring threat while getting points at a pace that best suits the Cavs. At least going big [utilizing Mozgov more], gives the Cavs a better chance at controlling the pace. There's a push/pull of slow pace to fast pace with contrasting lineups. Going small increases the pace more and more as possessions are exchanged - pouring fuel on the Warriors' fire. Although going big does have its drawbacks - it's the lesser of two evils.

That's why you use lineups that can slow the pace down. LeBron can't battle in the post and on the boards by himself all game long.

I think more than likely Cleveland will get a big game from the supporting cast to force a game 7. Especially since the role players always play better at home.

Cavs can't win getting outrebounded.

It's only an advantage if they can punish GS for going small.. THEY CAN'T.. they are not those kind of bigs.. theyre just hustle guys

And Mozgov is decent no lie, but he's not consistent and hes not fast enough to guard the smaller players... and they don't punish GS for going small on the offensive end, they just dump to Lebron and see what he's gonna do

Like I just said, theyre not punishing GS for going small. Eventually all the rebounding and shyt gonna slow down because GS gonna start hitting shots and those bigs are gonna get tired... Then what?

Mozgov has scored all series. Draymond Green or Harrison Barnes cant guard him in the post

He hasn't scored on his own barely...

It's usually some dumpoff from Lebron or some put back... And it's not enough

Like I said, you have to make a team pay for going small... That means gving it to Mozgoz/Thompson in the post and letting them wear down their defender and score... Cavs aren't doing that shyt

They're gving it to Lebron everytime down the floor thus not using the size advantage that they supposedly have on the offensive end...

And if the Cavs miss, or turn the ball over and there's no offensive rebound (GS definitely doing better on that) then it's off to the races and Mozgov/Thompson won't keep up for long
