Wasn’t no debate about deangleo if you are stronger he wasn’t blood and he was shaken after the first bid
But string has to be the most overrated character from the series because of how fascinating people think he was. End of the day he was a smart dumb mahfukka who wasn’t street enough to outsmart street cats and not finesse enough for the finesse politicians and business men he faced. Him and Avon needed each other for balance but once they separated both fell hard. At least Avon is alive and somewhat comfortable as he could be.

That’s not smart then. He wanted to make clearly illegal shyt legal and that wasn’t where his role was on the totem pole. He didn’t create hamsterdam, the police let them eat like that and then they flipped it on the street cats. He was naive at both street and business/political world he just wanted to look the part badly. Had he been 100 percent legit from the jump or 100 percent in the streets he would have excelled. It’s a reason why prop joe was sucessful so long until he got caught by Marlo and that’s because he made terrible decision especially wih cheese. Cheese and d Angelo barks dale mirror each other.

It’s easy to say cheese was a snake and prop fukked up by letting him stay so close despite him being family...but we felt bad for d getting killed because he was family. Business decisions have to be made at all levels and that was a decision stringer was willing to make. Having a hit man and a stick up goon tricked in to trying to kill each other was some comic book marvel civil war stupidity.
