Tyt was never a progressive network, they were always the so called " independent medias" msnbc. just like cnn and msnbc this is just a total capitulation to the rights framing due to bidens largely ineffective presidency. The corporate democrat movement on the left is dead. 3 failed elections
Cenk and Ana were always fairly mid in terms of progressive stripes. Cenk didn't even endorse Bernie when the entire left congealed behind him. Cenk endorsed Larry Lessig and tried to start a super-PAC. He got kicked out of the Justice Democrats basically at their ground floor too.
But TYT got credit for platforming genuine lefties and progressive voices. It just looks a bit different after the Union busting and Ben Dixon/Hasan Piker interviews explaining how exploitative TYT was towards its work force all the way up to the personalities that drew lefties in.
I always thought of TYT as a pipeline to leftism, because they gave legitimate lefties a voice. But Cenk and Ana were always mid...to be fair, I used to put Kyle Kulinski in the same boat, and he turned out to be much more inclined to leftist positions than the opportunist I used to take him for.
