So the corporate lawyer in me will tell you that every business gets sued for discrimination that isn’t a family business. Workers use it as a means to extract money from you on the way out. More often than not, you settle before something is actually filed to avoid the lawyers fees and publicity. I don’t recall that particular case but it’s not outside the norm unless there is crazy fact pattern. I haven’t read that article so I don’t know - though I do follow Andrew Jones on social media.
Edit: read it. Not going to lie, I can 100 percent seeing Cenk saying something like that. But also, the NYS division decisions are not easily searched. They probably settled once he filed to dodge publicity or there could’ve been a no probable cause finding.
But they fought off an attempt by their workers to unionize, which led to some leaving. Like TYT was a business proposition because there was no prominent left voice. And I don’t doubt that they believed in a lot of what they said. But when you try to scale a business, you make decisions. Those decisions, and how you handle them, reflect who you are. But let’s be real, wire and others are just here to troll the left for fun in their spare time and I have no interest in doing that. I’ve increasingly found myself on Reddit.
