An overview of the 14 apps India just blocked
The Indian just government blocked 14 mobile apps because they were allegedly being used by terrorists to spread propaganda. Most of these are messenger apps, but not all. Among the messengers are mostly products that feature end-to-end encryption, but some don't.

The Indian government blocked 14 mobile apps in the territory of Jammu and Kashmir because they were allegedly being used by terrorists to spread propaganda. Most of these apps are messengers, but not all. Among the messengers are mostly products that feature end-to-end encryption, however some don't.
India has blocked these apps using its powers granted by the country's Information Technology Act. Blocking apps isn't new to India – only a few months ago the government used the same legislation to block more than 200 finance and gambling apps.

Briar
