WW was good, but it got cysed with female journalists and the media not wanting to feel the repercussions of shytting on it even if they felt it wasn't good. :mjpls:

MoS got ripped for not being Reeves type Supes. Like ANYONE really cared for that Superman Returns trash.

Marvel has a formula and tone that works for general audiences. They got it down pat.

DC needs to focus on the Solo Jawns then come back for JL2. And have the suits stay the fukk outta the way like they did for WW. I'm sure Aquaman will be dope. Shazam should be too.

But the last thing I want is WB following Marvel's formula. Don't want 2 sets of the same type shyt.

That's the entire problem.

You're comparing Superman, Batman and Wonderwoman to Ironman, Thor and Captain America. Hulk was the only one to approach that level from Marvel, but his levels never hit theirs.

And phase 1 at that.

Superman Returns came out two years before Ironman and it made only $391 million. Green Lantern (2011) did only $220 million.

From Man of Steel 2013 onward, DC has benefited from the groundwork Marvel laid of comicbook tentpole releases. And it took blood, sweat and damn near flops(Hulk was a flop, matter of fact) to reap the Avengers stimulus package.

DC thought to skip all the hard work, and now their franchise foundation is flabby and sick.

DC wants to look like Arnold in 82, shiny and stylish but Marvel puts up rack numbers like Marc Henry.

Superman looks like Mr Universe but Thor is busting cosmic nuts on his back, and its not stopping..............:picard:
