Fans eager to see more of the Breaking Bad world are in for a treat, as an animated spinoff of Better Call Saul is officially in development.

"There's more Saul coming your way," a tweet from the official Better Call Saul Twitter account reads. "A new season of 'Employee Training' and a brand new animated series, 'Slippin' Jimmy' are officially in development." A GIF that accompanies the tweet features Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman, aka "Slippin' Jimmy," making a heart-gesture with his hands while mouthing, "And that is gold!"

"Employee Training" refers to an online web-series released on the AMC website. Better Caul Saul Employee Training ran for three seasons consisting of 10 episodes each. One of its stars was Gustavo "Gus" Fring, portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito.

Better Call Saul is set several years before the events of Breaking Bad, and tells the story of Jimmy McGill as he transforms from a decent lawyer to the seedy character of Saul Goodman. The show features mainstays from the original series, including Esposito as Gus Fring and Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut.

The Breaking Bad prequel series is set to conclude after Season 6. Season 5 premiered on Sunday, February 23.

this seems like the logical progression if they wanna keep telling the story cause let's be real, all the main characters are getting up there in age and are only gonna look way older than they did in Breaking Bad :manny:

the animated series could be dope if it's gritty and raw like some anime style type :ehh: i'd definitely check for it

That would be expensive as all hell

An Archer style would be cheaper as it's essentially flash
Flash would be wayyyy cheaper. Honestly, for a BCS spinoff like this.....that would be the best option.

A rotoscope show that has its own separate story with the BCS writers would have me intrigued. I don’t care how expensive it would be, I just wanna see it happen.
