I don't see how people find any pleasure in things like this, though this isn't even a very extreme example as far as what I've seen people laughing at. In fact, it's probably a pretty poor example. I don't think it's a coincidence that one of the identifying traits that presents itself in the majority of sociopaths and serial killers is a history of cruelty/violence/torture with regard to animals, though.
All that being said, the fact that you post this sentiment with your history of animosity towards human beings is troubling. The Nazis had the most progressive animal cruelty/animal rights laws in Europe...

Why are people afraid to accept our own savagery? I know how many animals die for my dinner. If I didn't have to work, I'd kill them myself. So watching a racc00n getting tossed around a chimp cage doesn't bother me one bit.
