Just saw the first two episodes and I think it's really well written. The plot seems simple at first but then they add layers with revealing unknown info about the victims. Most if not all the characters feel familiar to me probably because they're stereotypes: the drug addicted black guy and the broken white girl couple, the bytchy single mom who'll do anything for her sons, the fukk up dad, the hard working Mexican man trying to provide his family something better, rebelious children of immigrants, and so on. But the writer has been really good at making the audience (well me anyway) empathize with every single one of them even if they're on opposing sides.
So far I'd give the show 7.5-8 out of 10. I would rate higher but the pace of the story is a bit slow. The dialogue is exceptional though.
