American cities with active downtowns (other than NYC)

I've been in Providence and Hartford recently and the downtown in these cities is beyond


Even during Covid 34th Street in Midtown is bustling with pedestrian traffic.. But there is literally NOBODY outside in the downtown's of Providence and Hartford


The Burger King downtown Hartford closed at 6PM



Coming from NYC seeing cities in this condition is a culture shock

Facts!

I love Pittsburgh cause I was born amd raised there...but damn...Downtown Pittsburgh is dead at 5 and a complete ghostown by 6pm.


Like you could walk from Point state park up to the Hill District and not see a single soul on the sidewalk.

I always laugh with the brehs when we travel out of the city, its such a culture shock how slow everything is outside of NYC
