Obama has spent the last few days at the G8 summit in Fermanagh, northern Ireland. During that time, the FLOTUS and their two daughters decided to come with and visit Dublin.

All good there, right? Obama has a small bit of Irish heritage, so he wants his kids to get in touch with their roots.

What could freak white republicans out about that? One of my buddies/regulars at the spot that a bartend for extra dough put me wide. We parlayed about this. He shook his head at my naivety and told me to follow certain media sources during their visit. Hes from Chicago, black and married to a local girl. Lives here permanently.

First off, before the Obamas even touched down - the right wing media were reporting that she was staying in a 2, 500 euro per night hotel. Not true. From a firsthand source - her and her daughters stay in the vip suite was complimentary. Her staffs rooms were normal price. 150 euro or so a night.:rudy:

That was before the fam even left America. And then it escalated. I could post links for days. But I think this sums it up.....

Apparently, it was posted on some republican Facebook fan pages and took off from there.
