Dude was a failure in every aspect of his life. Nothing of value was lost
Police said 22-year-old Ali Hamsa Yusuf approached from behind the supervisor and aimed a gun at his head, but the gun apparently did not function properly and the bullet narrowly missed the supervisor, who was not injured. Authorities said more than 100 employees were in the building at the time of the shooting.
Yusuf soon fled the building, but was spotted by Madison County authorities later Sunday in Columbus. A short time later, Franklin Township and Columbus police attempted to stop his vehicle, at which point Yusuf exited the vehicle and began shooting at the Columbus officer, who authorities said was hit by a bullet but was not seriously injured thanks to his bulletproof vest.
Yusuf then tried to escape as other officers fired at him and was hit by at least one bullet. He was taken to hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later. The Columbus officer, identified only as a four-year veteran of the military, was treated at a hospital for minor injuries and released Sunday.
