I remember watching and seeing them come into the league thinking they was gonna be a problem. OJ, Rudy, JR Smith, Hakim Warrick :aicmon:

I guess these new players not built like that no more :snoop:

He would be much better PG as a combo guard. He's too small and not fast enough to score over SG.

Gay is just not a smart Bball player but it doesn't help he plays for an inside-out team.

More so O.J. Mayo. A lot of hype coming out of high school then he chose USC which was strange for a player of his supposed caliber. all the reports of playing against NBA players etc. I thought he played well and would really get going in the tournament but was underwhelming. He's a decent player but :manny:

people that post in The Coli really dont know shyt about basketball.

Nobody in their minds were thinking OJ Mayo was going to be as good as Vince Carter in his prime.

u think the Rockets would trade Gay for Battier if he was this next T-Mac?

He has the skills, bballiq and strength, but lacks the quickness, length, and speed to be a great SG. Then add to that he isn't much off the ball offensively either.

Mayo could be better than VC if used right. Gay was never going to be as good as VC or T-Mac. Ever.

everybody with their "would have" "could have" Bullshyt

They aren't up to prime Tmac and Vince Carter level because their just not good enough. I can sit here and say the same shyt like "yeah if I worked on my handles then I would have been the next Charles Barkley"

they were just not that good. Mayo didn't have Vince Carter's ceiling and nobody thought that besides nikkaz that post here in The Coli..... like 4 years after he was drafted.
