Don't get me wrong I like the increased athleticism of wrestlers today, but it seems like the fans today have no attention span and don't understand that its not just about wrestling the fastest pace w/ the most crisp spots possible

Its like the crowd today has no appreciation for selling and emotion, just want em to go out there and flip/flip flip/kick/dive/false finish "FIGHT FOREVER" :scust:

Ive been thinking on doing the samef or a long time.

I've come up with :

WWE style (safe style): "striking" and rest holds as a basis, emphasis on characterization

Japanese "Strong" Style: Striking and technical proficiency as a basis, emphasis on making wrestling look as real as possible and storytelling

Catch-as-Catch-Can (british-ish): Grappling and technical proficiency as a basis, emphasis on mat wrestling and storytelling

Lucha: The only school with high flying/acrobatics as a basis: Emphasis on Characterization

Canadian (which I don't care if no one else acknowledges. If it didn't stand out so much, Bret, Owen, Jericho,.Benoit, Dynamite Kid/Tiger Mask, Steen/Owens.,Ken Shamrock, Jake Roberts, etc woudlnt exist): Technical, and mat wrestling, emphasis on psychological
