Am I ready to bulk yet and put on muscle?

Hey, I've had threads in the past about this stuff.

Right now, I'm pretty leaned out. I'm wondering if I'm lean enough to bulk :patrice:

I'm not trying to post pics but I'll describe:

I'm muscular, but still have some small body fat.

I have small love handles and have some body fat in my thighs, but everywhere else is lean - for instance, my serratus muscles and upper abs show, my arms are lean and muscular.

Im at a point where people in real life when they look at me, would say I was in shape. Not skinny, but slim, and athletic looking.

I'm aiming to bulk to around thanksgiving. CLEAN bulk though :ufdup:

Classic Bulking isn't necessary to build muscle. Just eat about 500 calories over maintenance per day If your bf% is lower than 15%. If its over 15% bf a caloric increase isn't even necessary.

A good rule of thumb is to increase calories (slightly) if you can see your abs. If you can't you probably need to maintain or cut.

You sound skinny fat at the most. What's your height and weight? You may need to cut instead of bulk.

There is no good or bad time to lift weights to build muscle.

Bulk? Bulking will lead you to putting on mostly fat rather than muscle.

Just lift weights and eat in a caloric surplus to put on muscle slowly over time.

You'd be better off following a youtube fitness/bodybuilding channel over heeding the advice here

Chris Jones is the guy behind those channels and he's very knowledgeable and he's black

To be honest, it really depends on if you're happy with your physique and how much you wanna cut

Don't do a dirty bulk because all its going to do is add a shyt load of fat and little amount of muscle gain and cause your cut to be hell

Be dilligent and discipline with that shyt forreal, them dreamer bulks are not the way, trust me

You fake skinny. Stop claiming that shyt. A nikka told me I was doing too much cardio and if I wanted to add weight, I had to stop all the cardio, bulk up, then get cut. I was like nikka I’m already cut. If it take all that work I’m just gonna stay skinny. The fukk
