On the radio i keep hearing them praise the fact that nelson wasnt bitter or mad for how he was treated by white people...even moreso then them praising him for the extent of which he faught against apartheid. almost to say, "see, he wasnt mad at us "

am I reaching? or do you think theres an underlying reason for that?

People wanna dikkride anything that could make them feel good about life at any moment. Something this monumental, they gonna find some way to add themselves positively to this story. I'm trying to find the Mexican connection so my mama can :blessed:

White folks will forget when it's time to lay Paul Walker to rest

alot of peole opposed apartheid even in south africa, the reason why :mandela: is a great man is because after all he went through and was released there could have been civil war , thousands if not millions whites and blacks could have died or been slaughtered but he bridged the gap and preached reconciliation and forgivness

everyone should pick up this book

http://www.amazon.ca/Long-Walk-Freedom-Autobiography-Mandela/dp/0316548189

im buying it to read again

I meant to the extent that he did...going to prison for 27 years for what he believed in etc....he's done alot for SA, but it seems they more impressed with him not being upset at how he was treated.

ok. but you still havent answered my question. based on your responses I assume you see nothing wrong here, and you feel im reaching.

personally im more impressed by what he has done for SA and the extent in which he would sacrifice his life for the betterment of his country.

white people hate having fingers pointed at them, so them prasing him not pointing fingers makes sense to me.

Niigga of course they will take that route. White people will do anything to absolve any blame for ANYTHING negative that they've done in history.

Im watching a news network where they showed a cac saying. "Lets not forget that Nelson Mandella created an armed militia group in the 60s..."

:what: Of course he did because police killed like 70 UNARMED, PEACFUL protestors. What the fuuck was he supposed to do?

cacs forever caccing...:pacspit:

You aren't wrong and neither is he, what's important is that he stuck with his beliefs and made progress with them.

Don't question yourself considering the damage that's been caused from what they've done and to constantly lie about it.
