Although other rappers Stunted harder & more often in there rhymes, why is that HOVs rhymes about stunting hit harder.

Gucci mane, jeezy, Ross, cash money etc, about 60% or more of their lyrics is stunting. How is it that Jays stuntin on wax was more potent than theirs.

Jays biggest stunt was marrying a woman who was stunting harder then Jay himself, all other rappers and all those other rappers wives and baby mommas.

Even back then with all the money and drug mafioso talk, other rappers were rapping and in videos with the excitement like they either never had what they rapping about, were about to get it soon cause of their label advance or just got it and want you to be impressed with it.

Hov has always rapped like he done had it so long that he dont even care he got it. He just describing it to you.

plus in my mind at the time (and a looooooootta other folks, but few will admit it), he was still just "Jay-Z the Mid-Tier Rapper". How was we supposed to know he had it like that!?

(even a while later, DMX's "lookit all these off brand nikkas/running around talking like they holding figures big as Jigga's" had me like "wow, Hov got it like THAT!?")

this song and his blazay attitude about it passed over me like a fog, left me sitting like :skip:

I always believed Stunna more than Jay even when it came to Street shyt. Cash money seemed more authentic and they were, as we came to find out later.

And Jay Z is also the main reason why black artists aren’t distributing their own music without the white music executives being involved someway. Which mostly explains why he’s fukking rich. Very bad example for OP :scust:

And I can keep going....Beyonce has a whole career of stunting and most of that stunting was on popular singles. Even the song "Lose My Breath" is her bragging about how her sex energy is so strong that if you cant keep up she's gonna call you out. Straight going after the core and psyche of a mans ego.
