He goes back to the party where he first met kaylee, and when introduced whispers in her ear “i hate you if I ever see you again ill kill your whole family” iirc...so they never fell in love and each of them turn out ok...then it goes to them as adults they are walking past eachother on the street and kinda turn and look at eachother, as if they are still connected.
