Latest season on Netflix. Reality show where the general premise is about a dozen people have to survive in grizzly bear infested woods in British Columbia. They get to bring 10 items, but NO firearms, flashlights, lighters/matches, food/water, etc.

You can tap out any time and the person to last the longest wins half-a-mill.

shyt was pretty entertaining and bears were up in their business all the fukking time.

Lmk if there’s already a thread for this.

This series is my shyt

Changed my whole worldview.

Vegetarianism and veganism is a modern convenience. You need a modern grocery store, vitamin shop, and pharmacy to get everything you need from veganism. Vegetarians can have cheese and eggs and shyt, by ain't no cheese and ain't that many eggs in the wilderness.

If it wasn't for eating meat, your azz would starve to death in these survival situations.

Which is to say that: ancient people had to hunt to survive, and eating meat is as natural for us as it is for a killer whale. Sure. We can use berries and onions to fill in, but plants alone cannot work long term.

Show is a masterful look at the raw human just trying to make it another day.
