I'm over here watching dragon ball z blu ray and dragon ball z kai

and a statement that king kai said made me go

when he was training for the sayians goku had a couple months before they arrived but being dead a couple of months meant couple years

so u factor that in
it makes perfect sense why he was able to go ssj3 so easily during the time of peace for 7 years while vegeta wasn't able too

we know vegeta always trained but was already behind cuz didnt reach ssj2 goku had a leg up training with gohan seeing a glimpse of it in the time chamber

7 yrs dead also meant like several decades for him to achieve ssj2 and ssj3

which gave vegeta a disadvantage being alive

so being dead granted goku twice massive power ups first against the sayians then against buu

i enjoy kai more tho cuz of the translation makes more sense has more emotion behind it too me imo and i hate majority of the fillers in dbz but at same time dbz has more action more blood and some build ups toward the fights make it better so i can see why majority like it consider me in the minority that prefers kai

Oh also to the idea of SSJ 3. remember in the afterlife Goku has access to more people who know how to manipulte ki so he can get tips to reach SSJ 3. Vegata is on his own pretty much

Even if Vegeta did know how to do it,Goku said himself it was easier to practice in the afterlife where he had less limitations and didn't tire out as quickly

its not just that the afterlife timeframe is years compared to months in earth which gives him even more of an advantage is what i was trying to say also
