The Wrong Side of the Tracks
It was a fun fantasy for a while, but the nonsense has to stop. Puma Punku (Tiwanaku) was built by humans using stone/metal tools and rope. The heaviest stone is about 120 (not 800+) tons which could easily be lifted using levers and rope. Nearly ALL of the stones have drag-marks indicating no levitation was used to lift them into place. The stones used are sandstone and andesite (not granite and diorite) which are both easily worked using tools available to the culture. The 'laser-precise' cuts in the stones were accomplished using simple metal/stone tools and sand. The culture that created the structures left writing all over the site.

I don't think anyone takes the ancient aliens/time traveling humans ideas seriously. Its jut there for entertainment. Its not hard to believe that non-europeans had discovered advanced mathematical theories on their own and used whatever resources they had at their disposal creatively.

In the sky
Well when they choose to translate the people's languages and conveying their mythology and oral tradition "they" (white people) change word for outsiders, strangers and/or foreigners into Aliens. And also, Many societies have oral traditions that features people coming on ships\boats that seemingly sailed out of and into the horizon..so it looked as if they came from the sky\stars. Sometimes I wonder if "white" scholars consider making any attempt to understand the poetic language of the people they encounter.
