Sounds about right. Zoe Mafia Family was the jit prison thing. There's literally 25-50 different homegrown Haitian sets from Miami up through Orlando that have existed for 25-30yrs. Zoe Pound was the first. The Genesis. And it took off from there from the late 80s til now. Haitians make up such a large population of the census in Florida, that the homegrown 1st gen gangs make up a significant amount of the local street cliques. Most of these dudes were born and raised here in the US. Kinda like how the "Mexican Mafia" was started by Mexican-American Chicanos who barely(if ever) seen Mexico.
