Well this is great news. Glad he made a full recovery. If I were him I’d take the money and retire but knowing him, I think he’s gonna try to play. If he does, hope he stays healthy. He has a family, take the money and spend time with your kids.

Pretty sure that contract was guaranteed for injury and now Washington can cut him next season and skate on a lot of that money. Dumbass move by Smith if that’s true. I would hang them up until at least 2023 and then see where the market is after collecting all those checks for free.
